ethical responsibilities & accountability as a touch practitioner

intimate work asks for trust, and trust asks for structure. these are the commitments i hold myself to, and the people who hold me to them.

  • your wellbeing is my primary responsibility.

  • touch is only ever in service of your learning and growth.

  • we agree on limits and boundaries together during intake, and they can change at any time.

  • i practise enthusiastic, embodied consent, and i support you in finding yours.

  • if attraction arises, i hold it with care and keep the focus on you.

  • i'm committed to ongoing training, supervision, and my own care.

*adapted from the Somatic Sex Educators Association members' pledge. as a certified sexological bodyworker, i also follow the ACSB code of ethics.

my council

my council is a circle of peers and mentors i consult on ethical questions, and who hold me accountable in this work.
